Parties

Booking & Payment A deposit is required to secure your date. The remaining balance is due on the day of your party. Painting is charged per face, so please provide an estimated headcount at the time of booking.

On the Day Please ensure a suitable space is available for set-up (access to shade where possible). Additional faces beyond your original headcount can be added on the day for a small extra fee per person, subject to time availability.

Travel (applies to parties only)

We travel up to 15km from Carindale at no extra cost. Beyond that, it's $1 per additional km (up to a maximum of 25km) to cover travel time, tolls, and petrol.

Community Events — Under 4 Hours

Booking & Payment A deposit is required to secure your date. The standard hourly rate applies to bookings under 4 hours, confirmed at the time of booking.

On the Day Please ensure a suitable space is available for set-up (access to shade where possible). Queue management during busy periods is at the artist's discretion to ensure everyone gets a turn.

Travel distance for community events is considered on a case-by-case basis, in line with scheduling and availability.

Community Events — 4+ Hours

Booking & Payment A deposit is required to secure your date. The discounted hourly rate applies to bookings of 4 hours or more, confirmed at the time of booking.

Travel distance for community events is considered on a case-by-case basis, in line with scheduling and availability.

Cancellations (applies to all bookings)

• 7+ days before your event: full deposit refund.

• Within 7 days: deposit is forfeited, but you're welcome to reschedule.

• Within 2 days: non-refundable, except in extreme circumstances.

Health & Safety (applies to all bookings)

All paints used are skin-safe and suitable for sensitive skin. Please let us know in advance of any known allergies. Face painting is not recommended for children under 3, or anyone with broken skin, cold sores, eye infections, or skin conditions in the area to be painted.

Liability (applies to all bookings)

Nic's Knacks takes all reasonable care to ensure a safe experience, in line with Australian Consumer Law. Nic's Knacks is not liable for allergic reactions where allergy information was not disclosed prior to painting.
